It was a perfect summer night, when Joanna and her friend Alexis decided to meet up for drinks in South Norwalk, CT. They were both going to toast to their newly single life, this was a "No Boys Allowed" affair. Ryan had just completed his level 3 CFA test and was out with Kirk and Dad, Chris. To celebrate the event, they were grabbing a couple of drinks and this was a "No Girls Allowed" affair. After a few IPA’s Chris starts teasing his only son to get a girlfriend now that his studies are finally past him. Then in walks Joanna, and he immediately chooses her to be the girl Ryan should say hi to. Nervously Ryan exclaims, “she is too tall!” Chris bets his son Joanna is the perfect height and walks over to the girl’s table. Joanna pops up to show she is NOT 6’1” while Ryan walks over to her. She noticed his blue eyes, he noticed she’s 5’7”. As the evening went on, Chris returned to the girls to explain he was leaving but they should go hang out with his son. Joanna and Alexis shrug their shoulders and walk over to the table where Ryan and Kirk sat. Immediately sparks flew between the couple and the rest is history.
