Things To Do

We're so excited to share a few fun places for you to visit during peak autumn season! Some of these spots are a bit far from Devon but a nice little detour on the way back to New Jersey or NYC.
Philadelphia, PA

Philadelphia, PA

Philadelphia, PA

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania’s largest city, is notable for its rich history, on display at the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall (where the Declaration of Independence and Constitution were signed) and other American Revolutionary sites. Also iconic are the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, immortalized by Sylvester Stallone’s triumphant run in the film "Rocky."

New Hope, PA and Lambertville, NJ

New Hope, PA 18938

New Hope, PA and Lambertville, NJ are situated just across the river from each other and are about an hour's drive from Devon, PA. You can cross from one to the other via a short bridge over the Delaware River. The two towns have great coffee, cute little boutiques, galleries, and great restaurants. Check out Lambertville Trading Company for some great coffee and Triumph Brewery for locally crafted beer. We recommend a visit the day after our wedding, especially if you live in the Princeton or New York areas.

Princeton, NJ

Princeton, NJ

Princeton, NJ

This is the school/town where it all started for us! Visit the place where we met and check out our favorite coffee shop, Small World, followed by some market bites from Olive's down the street. Don't forget to walk through the campus and enjoy it in its fall splendor.

Ironbound Farm

Ironbound Farm

360 County Road 579, Alexandria, NJ 08802

While a bit out of the way at about an 1 hour and 20 minute drive, this ciderhouse serves local hard cider with apples grown right on the farm! It's been named as one of the top cideries in the country. We'd recommend checking whether they're open before heading out.

Solebury Orchards

Solebury Orchards

3325 Creamery Road, New Hope, PA 18938

If you're already visiting New Hope and Lambertville, you're in the neighborhood of this orchard for some apple picking! Check out the website before visiting to see which apples are ripe for picking.
