Will it be hot?

Answer

Probably? The average high in Pioneertown in June is 89 F (31.5 C). But, the climate is very dry, so warm temperatures are more comfortable than in humid climates. This also means temperatures tend to fluctuate a lot from day to night, nighttime temperatures below 60 F (15.5 C) are common in June. We plan to have the ceremony in the early evening, so temperatures somewhat cooler than the daytime high. What should I wear?

Answer

The entire ceremony and reception will be outside. We recommend light clothes comfortable in hot weather, but bring a jacket because temperatures will drop significantly after the sun sets. Also, the ground surface where the ceremony and reception will occur is crushed rock so we recommend not wearing high heels.

Can I park at Rimrock Ranch for the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, there are a limited number of parking spots available at Rimrock, but we recommend taking the available shuttle options (more info to come).
