Our story begins when we first met online, and our first date was getting carry-out from my favorite restaurant, Plaza Garibaldi's, at the beginnings of the lockdown. From the time we started messaging each other, I knew there was something special about him. As time passed, we enjoyed every weekend we could together, and we would talk every day and every night, sometimes into the early hours of the next day. In January of 2022, we decided it was time he moved in with me to make sure we could live together, and within that same month and year, we got our first puppy, Koda, our sweet boy. Then a few months later, we made the crazy decision to adopt another puppy, and Obi came along, and life for us got busy, but we made our little family. In August 2022, we vacationed in our yearly spot, Ocean City. While on our vacation, I was told we would be doing family pictures, and when the time came to do the photos, I was stunned by Jake proposing to me. Now we are intertwining our lives together and will be sticking together through whatever life has to offer us.
