How did they meet? They met and started dating in lower secondary school and are known as the lower secondary sweethearts. They believe it started from schoolwork competition and then affection grew. Joseph ask Pei Ying to be his girlfriend before boarding to a Cruise for a holiday. That was in mid 2011. They have been schoolmates/classmates until 6th Form. They then decided to take a break to test their relationship and pursuing their studies in University. At that time, Joseph is in Kent,UK and Pei Ying at Nottingham, UK. Despite many says about long distance, 7 years cursed etc, their relationship were verified and they did it. How did Joseph first proposed (2014)? Joseph proposed when they had a trip to Okinawa. It was dark at night and they took a buggy from the resort to the beach for star gazing. On the way out of the beach, Joseph swiftly went to the bar counter and took a bouquet of flowers and got down on one knee. It was total darkness and they both could not even see a thing. Pei Ying took the ring and they went off to the hotel with both hearts pounding due to both excitement and more towards the eerie darkness! Second Proposal (2018)? They decided to do a wedding photoshoot at New Zealand (in prompt) when they just wanna have a pre-wedding holidays to get away from work. Joseph surprised Pei Ying with a proposal (a new ring of course!) during the photoshoot at the Church of The Good Shepherd, Lake Tekapo, New Zealand with the snow-capped Souther Alps as a natural backdrops and also blessings from the doves. When Joseph proposed and present his speech, Pei Ying giggled and quote "why are your hands shaking even after all this 17 years". He did researched that Lake Tekapo is a top proposal destination and to make up for a day bright proposal. Then, they kissed and the photoshoot continues. What are the future plans?
