How do I get to the venue and where should I park? Is parking free?

Answer

6648 McEver Road Flowery Branch, GA There is a paved parking lot that will allow for ample parking at the venue. Parking is free.

What time can I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

We will start the ceremony promptly at 5:30 PM so please plan to be seated 15-30 minutes before the ceremony starts.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be at the Bradford House and Gardens. Check the Schedule section on our wedding website for more details.

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes, the facility has ADA amenities.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and receiption will flucutate between indoors and outdoors. Check the Schedule section of our wedding website for more details.

What should I wear?

Answer

We ask our guests to dress in cocktail or semi-formal attire.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Generally, October is a pleasant autumn month in Northeast Georgia. The average high is around 72°F with the average low around 52°F. October has an average relative humidity and October is the month with the least rainfall in Flowery Branch. However, like many places, the weather can turn on a dime, so we encourage you to check the forecast prior to the wedding!

What if it rains?

Answer

The show must go on! The Pavilion offers a covered, screened and enclosable space for the ceremony. There are heaters available if it's a cold day, and a dozen fandiliers available if it's a warm day. We also have the house itself as an indoor option.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Only if indicated on your invitation. For example "Julie and Family." While we love your little ones, kindly, we suggest you make arrangements ahead of time and if possible, leave the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Only if indicated on your invitation. For example, "Kelly and Guest."

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception?

Answer

Yes. We will have an open bar with beer and wine and serve hors d'oeuvres prior to your dinner. Please check the Schedule section of our wedding website for additional details.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

We have reserved a hotel block at the Courtyard by Mariott Atlanta Buford Mall of Georgia. We have exclusive rates for $159-$169/night. Make sure you follow the link to book your room to receive the special rate, no later than September 18! We have have also suggested some alternative options that are in close proximity the venue. Please check the Travel section of our website for more information.

Will transportation be provided to/from the hotel and venue?

Answer

We will have a shuttle that will take guests to and from the hotel (Courtyard by Marriot in Buford) to the wedding venue (Bradford House and Gardens). The shuttle will make two trips before the wedding and two trips after the wedding. The shuttle has 13 seats.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

When invitations go out, you will be able to RSVP on our wedding website. We will need your RSVP no later 20th September, 2023.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Sure, why not! We encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag Jimmy in each photo so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
