We started calling each other on the phone every day when the pandemic started being taken seriously in March 2020. Finally, on April 2nd, 2020, Jimmy said to Liz, "we should go out." Liz paused for a dramatic minute before agreeing with "OK." After a few weeks of long-distance and daily video chats, Jimmy decided to drive from Texas to LA to close the distance. He arrived on May 3 at Liz's doorstep. We've been living together ever since.
