Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony & reception?

Answer

Yes, only from the Hyatt - Portland Old Port/Portland Harbor Hotel. If you are staying at another hotel in Old Port or an AirBnB, we suggest you Uber to and from this location to minimize driving. If you are staying at the Wyndham Microtel, then we suggest driving or Ubering from this location. We STRONGLY recommend that you are ready to go in the hotel lobby 10-15 minutes prior to the scheduled pick up time for the shuttle to the ceremony.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Parking will be across the street on campus at St. Joseph's College. A shuttle will be available to drop you off and pick you up from the venue. There is also a nicely lit walking path that is easily accessible at any time.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony & cocktail hour will both be outside on a grassy lawn (please keep this in mind when choosing footwear). The reception will be under a tent with sides that enclose, if necessary.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our reception is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
