At around 2:30am, in the wee hours of the evening, Clay woke up to use the restroom. To his surprise, he saw a message from this girl Jillian on Match.com. He had posted on his profile that he could say the ABC's backwards in about 3secs, to which Jillian messaged him about the fact that she could say the 50 states in alphabetical order in 16-18secs. And from there, they chatted via message, and then over the phone until the sun came up. Due to the nature of 2020, the two knew they wanted to meet, but had no where to go. Clay mentioned that his father had friends coming over that afternoon and asked if Jillian wanted to join. She only felt comfortable because the lead singer of Clay's band was a mutual friend that she had known since second grade. haha. So, she said yes, and the rest was history. They met and had immediate chemistry and pretty much never stopped seeing each other. T'was love at first hang. hahaha.
