We're Getting Married!

Our Meeting - We met in May of 2018 through a mutual facebook group. Since then we have literally talked every single day, even on the rough days we were here for one another. We knew that what we had was more than a great friendship. We both had feelings for one another but distance was an issue. Then things just came together in such a way that I (Robert) was able to move to be with Jill in New Jersey. Though we had many video chats and phone calls, even though we knew we wanted to be together, the first in person meeting was going to be intense and scary. December 3rd 2018 I landed in New Jersey. Anxiously I waited. Then I heard Jill call out my name and just like in the movies. No hesitation, she ran into my arms and we just held one another. Our Engagement - In July 2019 I had a crazy idea. I knew I wanted to marry Jill, but how was I going to pull this off? We are around each other almost all the time... unless we are at work. I learned I would have both July 4th and 5th off from work. That got the wheels spinning. I put a plan in motion. First I needed Jill's mom's permission to marry her daughter so I nervously asked her permission. Next I needed a ring, so I "fibbed" to Jill. I never told her I had the 5th off. I played like I was getting ready for work. Same routine same everything. I got in touch with our good friend Ashley and let her in on the secret (so she could take pictures), then off to the store I went. I found an amazing ring for my amazing woman and then I waited for her to get off work. My plan worked like a charm. She had no idea and I could see the joy and excitement in her eyes. That moment made it all worth it.
