Love Never Fails!

Little did I know that 1 little office move would change the rest of my life. In March 2020 we moved my office (Kilgore Area Chamber of Commerce) to another location. The building owner sent over the owner of the janitorial company who would be cleaning our offices every week. Never in a million years did I think I would be meeting the man of my dreams. Alvin stops by to introduce himself full of his charm and friendly personality. As the weeks passed and Alvin would stop in to check on his employees and their progress, a friendship grew. If you know Alvin, you know how incredibly friendly he is and that he enjoys getting to know people. Alvin and I would have some pretty lengthy "chats" as time went on. In January of 2021 is when things moved from friendship to relationship to falling in love. Alvin and I knew early on that we would be together for the rest of our lives. Alvin asked me to marry him on November 13th at the Derrick Lighting event we hold downtown each year. It was magical and everything a surprise proposal should be.
