In a classic 21st century meet-cute, Alex and Jill both swiped right on Hinge! Our first date was at a beautiful restaurant in Lake Nona filled with lots of tapas, stories, and laughs. The next day Jill hopped on a plane to California, and the following week, Alex headed on vacation. But needless to say, the first date left a lasting impression on us both and we couldn’t wait to set up a second date once we were back in the same zip code.

We took the trip of a lifetime in June 2022! It was Jill's first time in Europe and we wanted to ensure that we experienced as much as possible during our 10 day trip so we decided on a 7 Night Greek Isles Cruise. Our very first port was Santorini, and Alex planned the perfect day. After walking around the island, which was the most beautiful place either of us had ever been, we went out on a breathtaking cliff for a few more selfies and to soak up the view before heading to dinner. While there, a photographer offered to take a picture for us. Alex got down on one knee and the rest is history!

Jill and Alex both enjoy cooking, but Alex leaves the baking to Jill. We love board games and enjoy hosting game nights! A few of our favorite games include Villianous, Catan, and cooperative games. We ran our first half marathon together at Disney in 2021 and loved it so much we signed up for another one in 2022. Speaking of Disney, we enjoy visiting the Disney Parks together and especially love setting sail on Disney Cruise Line voyages. We both love animals, with three cats and a dog making up the rest of our family. Alex instilled his passion for UCF football into Jill and we are season ticket holders and never miss a game.
