Question
What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
Answer
The dress code for our wedding is black tie optional, tuxes and gowns are preferred, but not required.
Question
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors in the the Addison courtyard. In the event of bad weather, these events will be moved to an indoor location at the Addison. The reception will be indoors.

What time should I arrive?
Answer
We recommend that you arrive between 4:30 and 4:45 pm to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled! The ceremony will start promptly at 5:00 pm.

Can I bring a date?
Answer
We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Will there be parking available at the venue?
Answer
Complimentary valet parking will be available for all guests.

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?
Answer
The Addison is able to accommodate any special dietary needs on the day of the wedding. Please let your table server know if you need a special diet option.

When should I RSVP by?
Answer
Please RSVP by December 4th, 2022.

What should I do if I can't make it?
Answer
You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
The wedding party will be staying at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Deerfield Beach - Boca Raton. We have blocked some rooms at a discounted rate. To see more information about hotel options, visit the Accommodations page.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?
Answer
Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #jforjohnston so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
