Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, dress code is cocktail or semi-formal wear. We would love for all of our guests to dress to impress! Please no jeans or cargo pants. The ceremony will be outdoors if weather is nice, so plan ahead.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony is at 5:30. Please arrive by 5:15 PM!

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

While we encourage all of our guests not to drive if they will be drinking, there is plenty of parking right outside the venue. A shuttle will be available for guests to take back to the hotel starting at 10:30 pm. Cars can be left in the lot overnight, and Ubers are allowed to come into the park for pick up/drop off, just make sure to specify pick up at Thornhill Education Center. Just let the Gatehouse Attendant know that you attended the Spangler/Thurman event the night before, and are back to pick up your car to obtain free admission.

Will we be outside at all?

Answer

If the weather is nice, we will be outside for the ceremony and the cocktail hour! To get to the ceremony, guests will have to walk in a little bit of grass, so just keep this in mind. The ceremony, if outdoors, will be on a paved surface.

Do I get a plus one?

Answer

Unless it is specifically mentioned on your invite, then no, due to limited seating at the venue.
