When should I RSVP by?

Where should I stay?

Answer

If you are traveling from out of town and need a place to stay, there are a few options. Georgetown is roughly a 30 minute drive away from Cynthiana and hosts multiple hotel options. The city of Lexington is a slightly further drive of around 45 minutes, but hosts a wider variety of hotels and Air B&Bs for your stay.

Can I bring my kids?

We kindly request that this be an adult-only wedding. Any children who are invited are specifically listed on the invitation and can be RSVP'd for.

Can I take photos?

Answer

We kindly request an unplugged ceremony to allow everyone to be fully present and immersed in the experience. Our professional photographer will be capturing all the highlights, and we'll share the photos with you afterwards. During the reception disposable cameras will be provided at each table and will give you the opportunity to capture your own pictures of all the fun - we will collect the cameras at the end of the night and look forward to developing the film. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in creating a distraction-free environment for our ceremony.

Do you have a gift registry?

Yes! While your presence is more than enough, we are registered on Amazon, and the link to that can be found on the registry page of this website. If you prefer to donate to our honeymoon fund, the registry page allows you to do so there.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

This will be a formal event and we would love to see you all dressed up in your best attire! This includes things like a suit, dress pants, a long dress, fancy cocktail dress, or sophisticated pantsuits. Please no shorts, jeans, or other casual dress.

Is the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception outdoors?

Answer

It is a mix of indoors and outdoors! The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors followed by an indoors reception. As the wedding is taking place in October, we will be flexible with the weather!
