We didn't meet the "old-fashioned" way, as some may say. But, we first connected on our phones on a chilly day in February. I (Jessie) was scrolling through Bumble from the comfort of my Fenway apartment, and Jordan had opened the app while he waited for a friend to meet him at Lamplighter Brewery in Cambridge. Stars aligned...and it was a match! Bumble is an app where the woman has to initiate conversation, so, as all good conversations start, I asked him to tell me more about his "goat call." On the app a "fun fact" Jordan had written was that he's "known for his goat call." Intrigued...I asked him about it, and the rest was history. Our first date was a week later at Lamplighter Brewery in Cambridge. We subsequently went back on the day Jordan proposed. Admittedly, I wasn't expecting the best thing to happen to me on Bumble. But, sometimes the best things happen, when we least expect it. I met the love of my life on an app, and I'd do it all again, if it meant I'd crossed paths with Jordan.
