Yes. Someone please remind Steve.
Just yourself. And a positive attitude. (Again, no gifts please.)
Children of family members are invited to attend, as we love spending time with our (very large) family. However, we are not able to accommodate all guests' children and we ask that you contact Jess or Steve directly NO LATER THAN 2 weeks prior to the event if you have issues finding childcare or if you have a cool teenager who won't sulk in the corner-less barn the entire time.
YEP! Our unofficial theme is "Patriotic Love Fest" in honor of our wedding and Memorial Day. It makes perfect sense. Please come dressed in your most obnoxious, ridiculous, 'Merica-loving patriotic attire. Or something that represents the essence of patriotism and love-festing. Or no patriotism, just love festing. Or be creative! Or just wear jeans and your favorite, corporate team building t-shirt from 2004. We just want to see your beautiful faces!
Please help yourselves to whatever beverages we provide for you. Due to liability purposes, no alcohol not provided by the event hosts is permitted. However, if you want to donate booze because you only drink Crown Apple or make requests for specific drinks because you're extra, please contact Jess & Steve directly, and we'll do our best to help your boozy dreams take flight.
There will be additional signage on the day of the event to direct you towards the parking area located BEHIND the barn. If you are coming/going while the party is in full-swing, please make every effort to drive slowly and carefully. AFTERNOON GUESTS: may depart/exit at the MARKET entrance/exit (paved lot) so that evening guests may enter at the "Wedding Parking" entrance.
Of course!! We ask that guests RSVP for the time slot for which they will want to join for DINNER SERVICE. This is for the catering staff to prepare for late afternoon (4:30 pm) and dinnertime service (6 pm).
YES! My goodness, yes. We'll have an assortment of appetizers (cheese, crackers, fruit, veggies, chips, pretzels, dips)--you know, the stuff that's helpful to munch on while drinking alcohol.
Yes, please feel free to bring bag chairs and/or a small tent for shade to sit outside during the day. If you'd like to drive a camper, pop-up or motorhome to park on site for passing out purposes, please contact Jess or Steve for those arrangements. We can only allow so many vehicles overnight (no electrical hook-ups available), but we'd rather be safe than sorry!
Yep! Although you can't BYOB, you CAN BYO yard games!
Of course! Who do you think we are, amateurs?!
That's a great question. If you're committed to bouncy houses, please personally text Steve and peer pressure him until he can't stand it anymore. It would be fantastic if everyone began randomly asking him about a bouncy house because I doubt he'll read all of the "FAQs" for this website and won't know why everyone is so interested in a damn bouncy house.
Yes. Yes you can. But please remember there are TWO dinner service times, and so just pick which time slot you'd want to eat dinner, you beautiful, rainbow jellybean unicorn butterfly, you.
Try unplugging and plugging it back in again.
