I met Michele during my freshman year of college as our dorm rooms were right next door to each other ! We clicked instantly and have been best friends ever since. She is full of so much sparkle, joy and positive energy. She is just one of those people who emits a light and draws people in. I knew from the minute I met her that I wanted to be her friend and I consider her friendship to be one of the biggest blessings in my life today. Over the span of our 10 years of friendship Michele has made me a better person. Her extroverted personality (a complete antithesis to my introverted nature) challenged me to come out of my shell and helped build my confidence. I always say that college would have been a lot less fun had Michele not encouraged me to meet new people, take risks and even get into a little of bit of trouble here and there. She is fiercely loyal and protective and has shown me that friendships truly can last forever. She is my best friend, my soul sister and my beautiful, stunning Maid of Honor !! *Fun Fact about Michele - she is quite literally, indisputably one of the worst dancers alive. Just ask to see her stanky leg!

Shannon is another fellow Scranton girl who I met during my freshman year through Michele! When I first met Shannon I remember my first thought being, "Damn this woman is tall!" I immediately started a conversation to try and get to know her and let me tell you it was like pulling teeth. I was lucky to even get a couple of words in response. Therefore, my second thought about Shannon? "Damn this woman hates me!" I am happy to report that Shannon did in fact NOT hate me and was just a bit on the quieter side when we first met. Since then Shannon has become one of my very best friends. She is the chillest, calmest, coolest cucumber under pressure, ice in the veins person I know ! Being roommates with her sophomore year and friends with her for the last 10 years has taught me many things but mostly that I need to relax a little...although let's be honest that's still a work in progress! Shannon is truly one of the most fun people I know. She is the first person ready to go to a party and always the last ready to leave, her prowess in drinking games and taking shots of tequila is the stuff that legends are made of, but in addition to all those things Shannon is an incredible friend! She is kind, loyal and always there to support and take care of her friends. To know Shannon is to love her and I am beyond grateful and blessed to call her one of my best friends and bridesmaid! *Fun Fact about Shannon - She can shower, get dressed and do hair and makeup all in under 10 minutes

I have been absolutely obsessed with my cousin Grace from the moment she was born. I genuinely thought she was the prettiest baby I had ever seen. Despite our age gap, we were instant besties right out of the gate. Getting to play with her, spend time with her and take care of her in my 7-year old little way was so incredibly special. As we have gotten older, Grace has shifted from being my baby cousin to one of my best friends. Whether we are at the beach tanning in our beach chairs, running a 10 mile race together or keeping Orlando out in Sea Isle until 2am we never cease to have the best time together. Grace is such a unique and special person. I often say -- there is no one in the world like Grace Shields. She has such a strong sense of personal style, the driest sarcasm and wit and lives unapologetically as herself. When you meet Grace you cannot help but to immediately love her and watching the friendship and bond that Grace and Orlando have formed over the years has made me love him even more. He fully accepts and loves the person who is the closest thing I will ever have to a little sister and I very grateful to him for that. People have asked me throughout my life if I feel sad or feel like I am missing out by not having a sister and every time I smile and shake my head no because I know I have Grace. *Fun Fact about Grace - She can sleep anywhere on any surface at any time of day or night. If sleeping was in the Olympics, she'd be a multi-time gold medal winner!!

Molly Nanni

Another baby cousin in the bridesmaid lineup -- this is Molly! Molly is one of my favorite people on the planet. Growing up we did not have the opportunity to spend a lot of time together, but over the last 5-6 years we have been attached at the hip. We often get told that we are very similar people and that even our baby pictures look alike. Molly is the most-driven, intelligent, and mature 21-year-old I know. I have always said that Molly is an old soul who is wise beyond her years. It's why I genuinely believe we are so close and have formed such an amazing friendship. I often tell her there is no way you are 7 years younger than me. In addition to being a kick ass graduate student in her PA program (impressive right?!?!) and an incredibly hard worker, Molly is one of the strongest people I know. She has faced more adversity and challenges than most, and she never ceases to carry herself with grace and positivity. She often tells me that I am her role model, but secretly she is actually mine. I genuinely could not imagine my life without Molly. She brings me so much happiness, is so supportive and loving, and has always been my greatest hype-woman! I am forever thankful to our parents for buying shore houses only 6 blocks away from each other as spending our summers together has greatly fostered our close friendship and sisterhood. *Fun Fact about Molly - Both her and Orlando are allergic to gluten. They are the cutest gluten-free buddies !

Patrice Lonardi

You cannot say the name Patrice without also using the word FUN! Patrice exudes energy, is the funniest person alive & the most entertaining person in existence. She is my cousin on my Dad's side & is a proud Harrisburg native! Despite not living nearby, Patrice & I have always remained close. Only a year apart in age, I would spend one week every summer in Harrisburg with our Gram, & it was always the absolute highlight of my year. Patrice, Angeline (her older sister & my cousin) & I would spend the week swimming at the BEST swim club, running around Hershey Park, eating from the most delicious Chinese buffet, visiting the lake in Mt. Gretna, and getting obsessed with whatever musical Ang introduced us to that summer (i.e Sweeney Todd and Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat). Patrice is an extremely hard worker & has had an amazing work ethic since we were kids. She was a very accomplished Irish dancer & used to travel around PA competing in various feis' with her troupe. I was her biggest fan & was always so excited to watch her perform at an annual competition near my family home in Norristown! Patrice is the embodiment of confidence, she carries herself with such grace & succeeds at anything she puts her mind to. I am so proud to be her cousin! *Fun Fact about Patrice - Patrice & I decided to pretend we were being attacked by a shark one summer at the lake. We drew a crowd of multiple other lake goers and lifeguards who applauded and laughed at our performance.

Maria Carrato

Maria is one of the best friends I've made since college! We met while working at PwC as we are both accountants. While we were always a part of the same friend group at work, we really started to become close over the last two years. She is insanely intelligent, driven & is one of the most loyal friends I have ever had. I will never forget the time when our PwC friend group was out at a bar in Philly - bottle girls were walking by with sparklers and one exploded and ended up shooting me in the eye (talk about traumatic!). Maria was the first person to scoop me up, get me in an uber and back to the safety of our friend's apartment. She stayed with me and kept me calm even though I was convinced I had lost an eye and would need to wear an eye patch! In addition to being an amazing friend, Maria is so strong and brave in character. While she is so giving to others, she also maintains her independence and always will stand up for herself when something is not right. She is a bad ass businesswoman and lives in the cutest apartment in Philly with the comfiest, brightest pink couch you will ever see! I am so grateful for her friendship & her continuous support as we navigate adult life together. She is truly a kind, genuine person & I am so blessed to have her as a bridesmaid! *Fun Fact about Maria - Maria is a proud & dedicated Swiftie! In fact, while at a T-Swift concert she suddenly developed a viral eye infection (ask her for pics, she'll show you) and managed to tough it out.

Shamus Shields

Shamus was my first ever best friend! I spent more time with Shamus in the first half of my life than I have probably spent with any other person next to my parents. Shamus & I used to go everywhere together & always could have fun no matter what we were doing. Whether we were watching the Eagles game on a Sunday at his house, shooting hoops out in the driveway, playing hours of Shrek 2 on PlayStation, or forcing him to be my pretend student while I taught him his letters & numbers on a whiteboard I always cherished & loved Shamus like a brother. It doesn't feel like long ago that we would walk hand in hand for 4 blocks in order to play a game of mini golf at Pirate Island and then OF COURSE get ice cream after. Sometimes I really can't believe that the little baby cousin I would take baths with is now an over 6'4 full-fledged adult. Fast forward to now and Shamus is a proud graduate of PSU & a successful account manager at his company! His sense of humor is unmatched, he's not too shabby of a dancer & he is the best brother, son & partner to his siblings, parents, & girlfriend Haley. I am so proud of the person he has become & immensely honored to be his cousin. No matter how old he gets, he'll forever be my little, green bucket hat wearing best friend:) *Fun Fact about Shamus - Shamus has the ability to go up & down a flight of stairs in a blink of an eye. In fact, legend states that when Shamus descends a flight of stairs, his feet don't even touch the ground - he glides.

Quinn Shields

Quinn rounds out the Shields family trio! He is Grace's twin brother & another of my favorite cousins. Quinn is the sweetest, kindest soul. From the minute he was born he was a such a sweet boy & continues to exude that to this day. Like Grace & Shamus, I spent a lot of time with Quinn. In fact, one of the fondest memories Quinn & I have together took place when he was 7 or 8. I was babysitting him & Grace for the day and helping them complete their summer pre-work. While Grace got right to work on her own, the only way I could convince Quinn to focus in was through a Wawa sandwich. For every correct answer, he got to take a bite. And let me tell you that work suddenly got completed insanely fast! I am happy to report that Quinn has since turned into a highly motivated young man. He is a successful student at Temple University where he is part of a fraternity & a member of the club LAX team. He is also a very hard worker - constantly working long shifts in Sea Isle while also completing a professional internship simultaneously. Quinn is incredibly confident & never shies away from a challenge. He is the life of any party & like his brother is one heck of a dancer. I love him so much & hope we never stop blasting T-Swifts' "Stay, Stay, Stay" in the car followed by getting a chocolate meltdown from Applebee's. *Fun Fact about Quinn - Quinn's lifelong best friends are two stuffed animal ducks named Ducky and Puddles. Don't believe me? Just ask him - he's very proud of his pals!
