Mitch and I met through mutual friends going out in Kingston one night back in the Fall of 2016. We saw each other again on New Years Eve of the same year. We actually ended up being each others New Years Eve kiss. We were both a bit hesitant after realizing our age gap of 4 1/2 years. We ended up chatting more a few months later as we couldn't get each other off of our minds. We started dating in April of 2017. We quickly fell in love and were spending most of our free time travelling to see each other. I was living in Oshawa at the time and Mitch was in Kingston. We dated long distance for 2 1/2 years and finally moved into our first place together in Brighton in July of 2019. We lived there for a year where we made many great memories with family and friends. We decided to purchase land off of Mitch's family and build a home together. After this decision, we decided it would be a good idea to move back in with family to save up for the build. I won a photoshoot contest on August 27th of 2021 at the Sandbanks Dunes. To my surprise, Mitch got down on one knee at sunset during the photoshoot. I was quick to say "YES". I was so quick that I never actually let him ask the question (lol). We recently moved back into town in Brighton until everything is finalized to begin building our dream home. We can't wait to make more memories together.
