Ian and I met back in the summer of 2020. I knew almost immediately that he would someday be my husband. I remember telling my mom that after talking to him for a little longer. There was one problem, even though literally the man of my dreams was standing right in front of me and all my wants of becoming a wife were right in arm’s length, it scared me sooooo much that it could become a reality so soon. After awhile we had both decided that we should take a break and work on the things we needed to in our lives separately. Through that time I found so much healing and freedom from the weight of other toxic relationships of my past and God lead me right back to Ian. (He never thought he would see me again mind you) Ian has always been by my side encouraging me and pointing me back to Christ and being the godly man that I have always longed for. I am so excited to spend the rest of my life with him! Xoxo Jess

July 2020  our journey began online. we were states apart, By God's Providence I had the pleasure of speaking and adventuring with the intelligent, silly and sometimes Mischievous Jessica. To me she was a stunning beauty. Similar beliefs and interests but completely opposite personalities. Not knowing she was exactly what I needed by the grace of God to challenge my selfish desire to stay comfortable with slow pace and small growth. I knew very quickly I wanted her to be the one God would help me build a God honoring future with. But God's timing as perfect as it is, it was not time . We had some beautiful adventures, memories and laughs but decided we both had much growing to do and parted ways. In 2021 God provided opportunities for me to make life changes so decided to move out of state to challenge my growth and comfort, just so happen to be the same state Jess lived in :) . In 2022 The LORD our God lead us back to one another continuing the work he began for our story of hope, love, hardships, trials, grace, forgiveness and much more growth to love and live for the glory of the LORD. -Ian
