Chris and Jessica first met on October 19, 2019. Chris had just relocated to Maryland from Florida for a new job. He noticed on social media one day that a very popular Haitian band from his hometown of Fort Lauderdale 5Lan was performing at a Haitian cuisine restaurant. Both Chris and Jessica ended up attending the event that night. In a crowded restaurant, Chris couldn't help but notice Jessica standing at the bar with some pretty extravagant eyelashes. He said to himself," those are some really long eyelashes, but she's kinda cute ". After a couple drinks, He gained enough courage to approach the beautiful Jessica and asked for a dance. They danced the night away.

Chris and Jessica are both foodies that enjoy experiencing new restaurants. Being that they met at one, Chris decided that it was only right for him to propose at a similar place. Knowing Jessica’s taste, He reserved a dinner date at a 5 star seafood restaurant in downtown Washington, DC. At the end of dinner, Chris got down on one knee as the waitress brought out a chocolate cake that had the question “will you marry me?”, Jessica said yes!

Chris and Jessica enjoy being adventurous, traveling, experiencing new cultures, trying new restaurants, fitness, and spending time with their fur baby, ChiChi. Some of their favorite memories together include: Their first international trip to Mexico, their first and last hiking trip to Annapolis Rock, ice skating, eating at new restaurants and lots of trips to the beach.
