While we attended the same English class at the University of Virginia in 2009, it was not until four years later when a mutual friend introduced us just before graduation. There was beer, pizza, and the notorious UVA lawn. We were pretty much inseparable after that and strongly believe in the expression "better late than never."

While Jessica was studying in London, Austin surprised her with a secret trip to Scotland. On the first day of the trip, Austin drove them to Kilchurn Castle in the Scottish Highlands and proposed along the banks of Loch Awe with the castle in the background. She said yes!

We chose to celebrate our love and embark on our biggest adventure yet in an intimate, "just us" ceremony. We exchanged vows on the top of Mount Mansfield in Stowe, Vermont, where we went on our first hike together back in 2014. After taking in the views from the top, we enjoyed some ice cream in town in honor of our mutual love of dessert. We truly could not have asked for a more special, magical day!
