Gonzales Wedding

Aaron & I knew each other from High School. However, it wasn't until after he was invited by a mutual friend to my 21st birthday party that we actually started to talk & get to know each other and started hanging out. May 15th, 2012 is a day I'll forever remember because it's the day my dad decided to take Aaron aside to have a "chat" about his intentions with me. Little did I know, that evening is when Aaron asked for my dads approval for us to start dating♡ When we met Aaron had 2 daughters - Aryal was 4 yrs old & Aaliyeh was 1 yr old! From the first time I met them to now, my love for them has grown tremendously! We then added our third little lady Malayna into our family in 2017 when she was 1 yr old. A few years later in March 2019 we welcomed our youngest daughter Jade into our family. Then New Years Eve 2019 at midnight for the New Year 2020, with now 4 girls in our family, Aaron made our engagement as special as it could be for me. If you know me, you know family is the utmost important thing to me. Well to say the least, he knew that about me and he put in place a plan to make the New Year celebration of 2020 a special one! Aaron made it a point to make sure all my family were going to be there to ring in the New 2020 Year - our girls, my parents, my aunts, uncles & my grandparents. It was then at midnight, he got on one knee and popped the big question! He knew how special and how much it would mean to me to have all my family there to witness this!! Our initial wedding date was set for May 15th 2021 (our actual anniversary). Sadly 2021 was not a great year for either of us. The Corona Virus shut the world down and wedding planning came to a complete halt. Then in February of 2021 we had two very important family members pass away, just months before what would have been our wedding day. With the loss of our loved ones, we both knew it was not a year of celebration, so we made the easy decision to postpone the wedding. Now here we are ready to say our "I DOs" on May 14th, 2022, making it official and becoming Mr & Mrs.!!!!
