Although neither of us really remember the first time we met at Crossfit Old School in Bowling Green, KY, we do know that this epic adventure started in February of 2016 when Damon was completing his internship at the gym. Jessica spotted him working on the lifting platforms and knew she had to make her move. Even though Damon insists that it was his sweet mopping skills that lured her in, everyone knows it was destiny.

Under the facade of a belated 30th birthday party for Jessica and a celebration of Damon's retirement from the Army, friends and family from all over the US came to Cincinnati to see the new place the couple now called home. Even though Damon isn't the biggest fan of heights, the group climbed the 49 stories to the top of Carew Tower whose Observation Deck looks out over the entire city. Damon dropped to one knee and popped the question! The remainder of the day was filled with drinks, board games, and even a little karaoke. We had so much fun on this day and can't wait to celebrate with everyone in January.
