Do you have a room block or hotel recs?
Answer
Yes, we have a room block at Marriott Brooklyn Bridge, more info is in the travel section. It is located in Dumbo, which is an amazing area of Brooklyn not far from Williamsburg, where the Welcome Party and Wedding are. There are also obviously many other hotels and Airbnbs in Brooklyn, but we want everyone to stay wherever they want! It’s a weekend in NYC, go as big or small, in any borough you’d like! Mark is always available for an inside city scoop or hotel advice!

WHAT SHOULD WE DO IN OUR FREE-TIME?
Answer
Ok, it’s New York City. We will not give recommendations here because we want you to enjoy whatever little part of the city you can! There’s opportunity on Saturday to see Central Park and do some Manhattan sights from there but really, this is the definition of endless possibilities! Eat, drink and be merry!

BUT REALLY, WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?!
Answer
Most of the weekend is casual and you should wear what you feel comfortable in, whether you choose to go NYC chic or vacay chill. The Welcome Party will be indoor and outdoor and the Wedding and Reception will be all inside. For the wedding, we are expecting formal dress and if possible, guests to wear the color pallet of burgundy, blush, emerald green, sage, or black. It can be any shade of these colors and is not required, but feel free to ask if you are unsure! #bridezilla

DO YOU HAVE A WEDDING REGISTRY?
Answer
Your presence at our wedding is all we could hope for. While we don't need very much, if it is your wish to honor us with a gift, we greatly appreciate whatever you’d like to give. However, we kindly request and would greatly appreciate any monetary contribution to help our savings towards our future forever home, there is a link to this on the Wedding Registry webpage.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO MAKE SPECIAL DIETARY REQUESTS?
Answer
Both events will have something for everyone! And plenty of it! However, don’t expect a full, sit down meal because that’s just not our style. But a full bar is!

WHEN IS THE RSVP DEADLINE? DO I NEED TO MAIL BACK MY RSVP OR CAN I DO IT ONLINE?
Answer
Do it now if you can, we are on a time crunch here! But really, as soon as you can by mail, on this website or even a simple text or DM. We don’t care, as long as we know soon! By March 1st at the latest.

CAN I BRING A DATE?
Answer
You may bring a date only if your invitation is addressed to you and that guest, otherwise, we prefer that it is just you. We really want just our closest family and friends at these special moments. We also have to provide strict headcounts!

MAY WE BRING OUR KID(S)?
Answer
While we love your little ones, our wedding and events are going to be adults-only so that everyone can relax and enjoy themselves. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us. Thank you for understanding!

CAN I TAKE PICTURES/VIDEO WITH MY PHONE DURING THE CEREMONY?
Answer
We kindly request that you partake in our Unplugged Ceremony. We want to see your faces and not your devices. Please silence and put away your phone, camera, and iPad. We promise there will be many photos to come!

ARE WE REQUIRED TO BE VACCINATED OR WEAR A FACIAL COVERING?
Answer
We will play it by ear and follow the CDC recommendations, but more importantly the guidelines of New York City. As of now, proof of vaccination will be required by our venues. We encourage everyone to keep up to date on developments and we will try our best to do the same then communicate. If you feel sick or have Covid-19 symptoms during your visit, we kindly ask that you not attend. Your health and the health of others is of great importance to us, we hope you understand.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I CAN’T MAKE IT?

Do not stress! You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly. We will love to continue to celebrate the next time we see you!
