What is the dress code?

Answer

Please dress in cocktail attire for our wedding. Jackets, ties, or floor length gowns are NOT required - we would like for everyone to be comfortable in the summer weather. But please no jeans, shorts, or mini-skirts/dresses.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled ceremony start time. We welcome you to join us for a glass of champagne as you arrive at the venue. If you care to indulge, please allow for time to enjoy your glass before being seated for the ceremony.

Will the wedding events be indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be outdoors on the grounds of the lovely Wadsworth Homestead. The reception will be held in a large party tent on the property, with bathrooms available inside the main buildings.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

All children who are invited to the wedding ceremony and reception will be included in your invitation. All children are welcome to join for the Friday Meet & Greet and Sunday Brunch. Please reach out if you have questions about potential child care options while you're in town.

Is parking available on site?

Answer

Yes, there will be sufficient parking for all guests at the Wadsworth Homestead where both the ceremony and reception will take place.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Late June in western New York is typically lovely with temperatures in the 60s - 70s, but there is no guarantee. If the day is hot, shade will be available via large oak trees at the ceremony site, the porch of the homestead during the cocktail hour, and in the tent during the reception. We will also have fans available in the tent to combat any extra heat. In the rare event of cool weather, we will break out the heaters in the reception tent.
