Unless otherwise stated on you invitation, we are unable to accommodate additional guests. Thank you for your understanding.
Yes! Please do so by March 1st. Catering to a remote location is one of our biggest challenges and we want to be able to have plenty of delicious food for everyone who can attend.
We hope that everyone who can will help lend a hand when needed. Moving tables and chairs, picking up after ourselves, starting a bonfire (in the designated fire ring), making sure the kids are staying out of trouble, you know all the community-building stuff:)
Yes! Black bears are common in Downieville! They aren't known for going after people, but they sure like snacks. Please make sure you lock your cars and cabins and store your food outside of your tent.
There are some amazing restaurants and coffee shops in Downieville! They are small and may get crowded. If you plan to cook on your own there is also a grocery store, we recommend using it more for things you forgot than the bulk of your shopping. Grass Valley and Nevada City are on the way for most of you and have tons of options. If you don't know about BriarPatch Food Co-Op yet, you are welcome:)
They are amazing. We highly recommend returning to the Yubaverse multiple times of the year for the rest of your life. For this weekend, we have reserved the cabins for our wedding.
Yes, however, it is limited. We don't recommend planning any zoom meetings around it:)
Yes! Pets are welcome at the Yubaverse and all events except the Ceremony. Please make sure pets are allowed in your accommodations if you are not staying at the venue.
