Hiking is another favorite while visiting Arizona. Echo Canyon is our preferred trail on Camelback and has terrific views. It is a fairly strenuous hike but can turn around at anytime. Very close to our recommended hotels and venue.

Camelback Mountain - Echo Canyon Trail

Also a great hike easy to reach from the Central Phoenix area. Overall less difficulty than Camelback. Multiple trailheads - see link.

Piestewa Summit Trail in the Phoenix Mountains Preserve

One of Pat's favorite breweries and a pit stop every time we are in Arizona. The Italian Beef Beer Bread is amazing!

Four Peaks Brewing Company

A favorite pizza spot of ours and so darling. The BIANCOVERDE and WISEGUY are favorites. Also get the ANTIPASTO.

Pizzeria Bianco

Great spot for creative small plates. Nice patio behind restaurant. Intimate setting in Phoenix's hip Melrose District.

Restaurant Progress

Very family friendly spot. Another one of our must go to spots in Arizona for pizza. You must get the "pizookie" dessert if you go.

Very cute wine bar we love- multiple locations check which one is near to you!

Wander around Old Town Scottsdale -  numerous art galleries, restaurants, shops, and more.

Old Town Scottsdale

If you stay for a longer trip consider going to Sedona. A lot of great hikes, spas, shopping, etc to walk around and do. (Bell Rock Trail is where Pat proposed!)

Sedona

Even if it's not ski season this is also a great place to visit on an extended stay. The Arizona Snowbowl resort has a lift that you can ride up with gorgeous views.
