It all started when two ladies swiped right. Yup, this is a Tinder love story. On October 21st 2018, after messaging briefly, we agreed to a spur of the moment meet up at a bar we both happened to be close by. Turns out Jess lived right next door but that’s beside the point. For me, it was a strange and wonderful few days leading up to that night. My studio had flooded and my dog Rory and I were displaced. I was staying at a friend’s apartment and feeling extra grateful for the people in my life and the (overall) season I was in. So much so that I was putting zero pressure on this date. I'm an over thinker so in retrospect this state of mind was some kind of miracle. My first in person impression was that I liked her voice and her style. And that the subtle douchey vibes I got from her photos didn’t hold up. She was sweet, generous and incredibly attractive. And her smile, swoo-oon. Jess’ memory of that night is, “I walked to the bar just in time to spot Hailey getting out of her car. My first impression was that she was just as beautiful in person as she was in all the pics. I didn’t take a good look at her car and it’s a good thing— I might have ended the date right then and there. RIP Barb. The conversation flowed effortlessly and we stayed up talking that night, and the following night, until 4am. She looked at me like no one else ever had and I just knew that we had something special.” So yes, we talked until Haymaker kicked us out and the rest is history.
Our wedding day will be one of of the best days of our lives and we can't wait to share it with you all. Whether from near or far we thank you in advance for making the trip out to Lockhart to celebrate with us. TAKE CARE Love, Hailey & Jess
