Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space and budget, we cannot accommodate a plus one unless there is an option to add one when you RSVP. If there is an option for you to add a plus one, please make sure to add them so I have an accurate head count. I will not assume anyone will bring an additional guest, even if I have added the option for you to bring one.

Question

What if I RSVP after April 15th?

Answer

I ask that you RSVP on time for an accurate head count. April 15th is my cutoff date so I can start planning for vendors. If you do not RSVP by this date, please do not plan on coming.

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

I have accounted for all children on our invitations list. We ask that you include them when you RSVP, and if they become restless during the ceremony that you move to an area where our day will not be disrupted. Please note that our reception music may not be considered child friendly later in the evening.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We would love to see our guests dress up with us! We have a semi-formal dress code. Our ceremony will be outside, while our reception will be indoor and outdoor. Please bring a jacket if you often get cold. Our colors are Maroon, burnt orange, cream and sage, but we ask that you do not wear any colors traditionally reserved for the bride. This includes, but is not limited to white, cream, ivory, and champagne.

Question

Where do I sit?

Answer

While we do not have a seating chart, the first few rows for the ceremony will be marked reserved for our parents, grandparents, siblings, and other close family. We will also have reception tables marked reserved for the same people. If you are not told by us to sit in these areas please don’t.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We will be having an unplugged ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer to take photos of our day, and we would greatly appreciate if no phones or cameras were out during this time. During our reception, photos are welcome and encouraged.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Due to limited budget and area restrictions, we will not be serving alcohol and ask that you do not bring alcohol on the premises. Thank you for understanding.
