Elisa and Jeremy's love story began on a serendipitous night where they both met randomly at a local bar in Westport, Kansas City in 2017. There was an instant connection between them with dancing, and laughs throughout the night. After having such a great night, they exchanged contacts in hope to possibly meet again someday. That same night Jeremy was looking forward to seeing her again soon! He decided to text her immediately for a morning coffee date. Elisa unfortunately had to decline his invite due to it being Thanksgiving the next day and heading back to Chile. Fate intervened again on March 25, 2021, when Elisa revisited KC while on vacation with her family. Jeremy realized that Elisa was back visiting and reached out to her with intentions to see her and reconnect. After hanging out again with each other and a couple of friends, there seemed to be a spark of love. What started as a chance encounter soon blossomed into a long distance relationship. They began navigating miles between them with unwavering commitment, multiple flights to KC, and many FaceTime calls. On July 3, 2021, Jeremy took Elisa to The Canary, where he asked her to be his girlfriend. Elisa excitedly said, YES! They then celebrated their love with a cocktail on the roof and fireworks illuminating the KC skyline. Their journey has been filled with challenges, but through it all, their love has only grown stronger, proving that true love conquers distance, language, culture, and all obstacles!

In the picturesque snowy landscape of Boulder, Colorado on February 25, 2022, Elisa and Jeremy ventured on a spontaneous walk along a serene mountain trail with their beloved dog Izzy. Little did Elisa know, Jeremy's sister Christen was discreetly capturing every heartfelt moment from a hidden vantage point. With the snowy majestic landscape behind them, Jeremy dropped to one knee, his heart racing with nervous excitement, a sparkling ring in hand he professed his love for Elisa. Overwhelmed with emotion, Elisa joyfully accepted to commit her life and love to Jeremy. Later that day, Elisa also committed her life to God giving them both even more of a reason to celebrate!
