A quick note regarding the Delta variant: our vendors are 100% vaccinated and our guests are 96% vaccinated. Additionally, our event is entirely outside. We will not be requiring masks but if you feel more comfortable wearing one we encourage you to do so! If you are immunocompromised and would prefer to sit at a table with fully vaccinated guests, please let us know. We want everyone to feel as comfortable as they can given the new normal. That said, getting vaccinated is the best and easiest way to stop the spread and prevent further mutations of the virus. If you are not vaccinated, we encourage you to speak with your doctor about your concerns. Please note that many bars and restaurants in and around Seattle are requiring a picture of your vaccine card and a matching photo ID. Some will also accept a negative test within 48 hours of entry. With the successful vaccine rollout nationwide, it is our hope that we will be able to have a fully vaccinated wedding as stipulated by the governor's orders. While mask wearing may still be required in August, guests can stand, mingle, and dance without physical distance restrictions in place! From the orders: "Event attendees vaccinated against COVID-19 by a two-dose mRNA vaccine (such as Moderna and Pfizer), or a single dose vaccine (such as Johnson & Johnson), are considered “fully vaccinated” two weeks after the final dose of vaccine (the second dose for a two-dose regimen, or the single dose for a single-dose regimen). Documentation of vaccination status must be available upon request at any time." If you have a health condition that prevents vaccination, you "may attend a fully vaccinated wedding or event so long as [you] provide proof of having tested negative for COVID-19 within 72 hours of admission." Bottom Line: You must either be able to provide proof of vaccination if asked or you must have a negative covid test dated between August 5 and 7.
