Maid of Honor
We grew up together, fighting and often at each other's throats. Now that we're older, my sister and I have grown really close and I wouldn't trade her for the world. With kids similar in age to my own, we share the joys of motherhood together, spending holidays at each other houses and going to Florida together with the kids. She's the best sister I could ask for and I'm beyond thrilled to have her as my maid of honor
Best Man
Growing up in Brooklyn, Kevin has been in every significant part of my life since I was 11 years old. We went to the same schools together since junior highschool and even work at the same hospital institution now. Since being my roommate for three years in college, Kevin has seen me at my highest and lowest point in life. He has coined the name "Nervous Phil" for me due to our antics in college which I will not disclose the details of. One of his most heroic feats in our friendship was fireman carrying me up 5 flights of stairs to tuck me into bed after a frat party.
Bridesmaid
Who needs prom when you have an amazing friend that brings you to Six Flags instead?! Michelle and I have known each other for more than a decade after first meeting in high school. Since then, we've travelled all over together, from California, to Miami and everywhere in between. Besides cheering each other on at the casino table, I can't thank her enough for pushing me, and inspiring me to always be the best version of myself.
Groomsman
As the first friend I ever met in elementary school, Gregory was also the first person to introduce me to many pleasures in life I sometimes regret. In 5th grade, he introduced me to my very first game of handball at PS200. He then proceeded to invite me to a family New Year party afterwards where I was introduced to my first sip of vodka. I will not confirm or deny if I have gotten into trouble with Jenny because of the downstream effects of handball and alcohol. Gregory will forever be one of the hardest working person I know in my life. He will always call you "just because", preserving a part of our friendship I will deeply cherish.
Bridesmaid
Tuby and I've known each other since we were 7 years old, swinging away at the monkey bars and chasing each other playing tag. Now, our days are spent at the local bar and without a doubt, Tuby will be sipping away at her Guinness. She's loyal, funny, and always down to have a good time! She's been by my side through it all, and the best aunty my kids could ask for. One of the most memorable Halloween is when Kyle received a pack of Cup noodles instead of candy! The kids and I absolutely adore her for her huge heart and cheeky sense of humor.
Groomsman
I first met Tony in elementary school after confusing him for his twin brother Kenny. We didn't get to really know each other until after graduating pharmacy school, where he introduced me to a bar called "On Now". As a result, Tony also had the unfortunate responsibility of dealing with my Happy Hour shenanigans there every Wednesdays for two years. I was with Tony when he first met his wife at "On Now". I was also with Tony when I appeared on the last question of his wife's Green card interview. Whether it's 3PM or 3AM, Tony will always be available for a drink to chat with me (as long as his Hwarim signs his permission slip).
Flower Girl
This sweet little girl is just filled with personality and giggles. She may only have a few words in her vocabulary, but rest assured, she always gets her points across! Olivia has been hard at work training for her walk with her big brother the last few weeks. Please make sure to cheer her on when she comes out for her big moment down the aisle!
Ring Bearer
Our sweet sweet Kyle. There are no words to describe this charming little boy who just turned 6 and officially entered 1st grade. He's been the best big brother ever since Olivia was born. He loves to chase her around the house, while she screams with laughter. He's been so patient the last few weeks practicing with Olivia and holding his pillow so make sure to cheer him on when you see him!
