ARE KIDS INVITED?

We love your kids—we really do, but we want our wedding to be your night off! To allow all guests to relax and enjoy themselves, we have chosen to make our special day adults only. We thank you for your understanding!

CAN I BRING A DATE?

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

IS THERE A HOTEL BLOCK?
Answer
Yes, at the Grandstay hotel. If you want to book within the block, please call the hotel and request a room under "Ulvenes Wedding in October 2023". The two room options are 2 queen bedroom suite and a king bed suite - both with pull out couches.

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE FOR THE CEREMONY?
Answer
Ceremony is at 4 pm, so it is suggested to arrive at least a half an hour early

IS THE CEREMONY INSIDE OR OUTSIDE?
Answer
We are hoping outside - but have a back up option at the same location just in case. With Minnesota - fall can be unpredictable, it can be sunny and nice, or snowing in October. We suggest keeping an eye on the weather and plan to wear a jacket if needed - there is a coat room at the venue

Is there parking available near your wedding venue?
Answer
Yes! Plenty of parking at the venue, we will have a shuttle going to the Grand Stay starting at 9:00 PM - 11:00 PM. If you are drinking and not taking the shuttle - please plan accordingly and make smart choices!
Question
Can I post wedding photos on social media?
Answer
Yes of course! We only ask that during the ceremony - phones are put away as we will have two photographers and a videographer. We will be happy to share the professional photos once we get them back. :)
