Nothing sets you up for a life full of unexpected twists and turns quite like taking public transit to work. Jenny and Jeff both used to work in the same building in New Jersey, and when Jenny moved to Philadelphia, their commutes actually were the same. But as you can guess, this commute was not very fun, and at least once a week, they found themselves at a Dunkin’ Donuts in a New Jersey strip mall waiting for a delayed bus. This gave the two a lot of time to talk and both of them started to look forward to the next time they would have a few minutes to kill and could chat some more. Eventually they realized that they didn’t want a commute to be in the middle of their relationship, so they started hanging out other places instead. To this day, I don’t think either of them has felt the need to go to a Dunkin Donuts again.
