Can I Bring a date?

Answer

We chose a small intimate venue to share this special time with our closest friends and family. Unfortunately this means we can only accommodate around 100 people. It is a more structured event with limited seating and a plated dinner. Please do not bring guest if they were not addressed. We also ask that you make other arrangements for your children, as this is an adult affair. Thanks for understanding, and if you have any concerns about this please contact us directly.

What's the dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal Beach Attire. Ladies, you will want to wear flats or wedges since our ceremony will be in grass. You might want to bring a sweater or wrap to throw on when the sun goes down. Men, no need for the 3-piece suit and tie. We want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose.

How do we get to the wedding venue?

Answer

Please arrive at the Haig Point Embarkation on Hilton Head between 3:00-3:30. The Chartered Ferry will depart promptly at 3:40. After a 25 minute boat cruise to Daufuskie Island, you will walk up the dock to the Mansion, and take a golf cart to the Lighthouse. The ceremony starts at 4:30. After the Ceremony you will hop on another golf cart for a 5 minute ride to the Calibogue Beach Club. Enter through the gate to the deck for cocktail hour. Dinner will be served at 6:30 on the 2nd Floor. Band and dancing to follow. Ferries will leave every hour at half past til 10:30.
