Social media matched us in their romance service. We knew there was something different about the connection right away. We realized our paths had crossed at so many points in our lives that it was too remarkable to ignore. Slowly, we put together that we grew up in the same town, attended the same High School, were taught music by the same talented teachers. It took two months to get together in real time and we are so glad we waited.
While waiting for Jen to recover from COVID, we planned our next date. Visiting the holiday lights at Renaissance Festival venue, we slogged through mud and slush. Teresa drove and got the car stuck. While we waited for a tow, we got to know each other more and laughed at our predicament. When we finally got back to Brighton, we spent the entire next day talking. We originally planned our ceremony for 12/31/23, both for the numerological joy and as an homage to that first landmark date. When we ran into planning difficulty, we wanted to preserve 12/31/23 as an anniversary. We had a small, private ceremony NYE '23. Now we invite you to celebrate with us in March 2024!
