In 2017, Jennifer had just started working for the Land of Nod corporate office, while Juan had already been working there for a few months. Shortly thereafter, they became friends and started hanging out at the Village Inn in Skokie during their lunch breaks. Having a few too many during their lunch break always made for lots of laughter for the remainder of their day. As time went by their lunch dates turned into weekend dates over the usual, pizza, beer and whiskey. On April 22nd 2018, they both decided to take what had become an amazing friendship a step further. Countless I love yous, breweries, road trips, blending their little families and a pandemic led Juan to finally pop the question on October 10th 2021.
