FAQs

The Wedding Website of Jennifer Wingett and Cooper Collier
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

September 7th 2023. We want to make sure we have a head count for seating as well as food and drinks. You can RSVP on this website for ease!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Check out our registry section on this website! We also would be more than happy with a gift of money for our honeymoon. But, the best gift of all would be your presence. :)

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Your invitation will indicate whether or not you have a plus 1. Please, refrain from bringing additional people so there's enough room, food, and drinks for everybody!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, however, please do not let them go unattended. This event is at a brewery in an unfamiliar town so it's best to not let them wander too far without supervision. And though we love kids, we would rather enjoy our evening by not being responsible for them.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

It's fall in the U.P. so dress accordingly! We suggest you bring layers and an umbrella because you never know what to expect. But honestly, wear what you want, we don't care as long as you're comfortable.

Question

Why the limited ceremony guest list?

Answer

We opted for an outdoor location with no reservation, limited parking, and no way to avoid other visitors. Also, we really wanted to experience an intimate ceremony with close family and friends as our only guests. We're sorry if you were not given the option to attend but don't worry, we'll be ready to party with you at the Ore Dock!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No, but we strongly encourage carpooling to avoid any parking issues!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking for the ceremony will not be guaranteed so we strongly encourage meeting and carpooling! This is why we have limited our ceremony guest invites. Parking for the reception should be much easier. There's a lot right across from the Ore Dock with entrances on Spring St. and Baraga Ave. If it's full, street parking is everywhere so you'll find somewhere to park. Promise!

Question

Why a daytime reception?

Answer

Besides our budget, we felt that a daytime reception would be more beneficial to the majority of our guests. Traveling to the U.P. is not a quick trip so it made the most sense to have it earlier to accommodate that. It allows you to leave after the reception or early the next morning without having to sacrifice more time or sleep.

Question

What are we providing at the reception?

Answer

Lunch, dessert, and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided for everyone. Each guest over 21 will also be given 2 drink tickets to try a couple of Ore Dock brews. Any additional drinks you would need to purchase.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Jenn does have a dairy intolerance so those options will already be available for simplicity. If there's something specific you need to avoid, let us know and we can try to figure something out!

Question

What's this bar crawl about?

Answer

We just didn't want the party to stop at 5pm! At 6pm we plan on continuing the fun at the Ore Dock (with the public) and then we'll go ahead and check out some other spots for more brews and spirits (most likely on foot!). It is totally optional and you're free to enjoy the rest of the evening however you want.

For all the days along the way
