Moorten Botanical Garden

This more than 1-acre land is the vision of Patricia Moorten & her husband Chester "Cactus Slim", who collected plant specimens throughout their travels and, in 1939, established a garden of peculiar plants in their home.

This facility houses more than 50 military aircraft. Many still fly, and you can even book a ride on one of the warbirds. Some of the docents actually flew some of the aircraft during the wars and would be happy to share their stories!
