How we met...

Patience is key...

We met at work. At the time I was working at Asurion on the same floor as Ron. We watched him and his friends walk by several times a day (like they never did any work lol) and so one day they walk over looking for someone and he was right by my desk kinda looking over me and i thought it was kinda rude, so I introduced myself to him and he reached out his hand and said "Hi I'm Ron Balletine" yes he gave his first and last name lol. And from that moment on we started talking and the first time we hugged we both knew we'd somehow be together forever... Im certain Ron's version of this story may be a little different lol

What a Time to Be Alive

That hug though....

I remember the day I reached out my hand and said, "Hi, I'm Ron Ballentine". Was that impressive or what. Now I know it's only a name introduction, but you have to understand, I was finally face to face with Jennifer. Now she say's that I wasn't paying her much attention, but no no no, I most certainly was. I had to make this count, plus I believe I actually had on real business attire that day. No way I'm going at it with the outside of work introduction. Otherwise, I would have had to come with that Mike Larry tone. To make a long story short, we started talking over the phone and eventually hung out together. The first time we hung out I have to say was one of the best times. The conversation, the vibes, the energy, and chemistry were all on point. We talked and talked. We finally came to a wrap up point and decided to call it a night. Here's the part, that hug though. All I can really say to describe the magnitude of how energizing that hug was, is that it felt like life. At that moment I knew this was going to be a journey that I'm all in for. For weeks and weeks, we communicated with each other, hung out and every other message had a simple three- word phrase in it... That Hug tho...My story doesn't have the kicks and laughs that Jennifer's has, but it's one thing for sure, they say blood is thicker than water. On that night I found out that love is thicker than blood. What a time it is to be alive.
