Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There's no parking available at Foxfire unless you are staying overnight on the premises, so once you have your lodging we will coordinate a shuttle bus pick-up with you to bring you to the ceremony. If you're driving in just for the day, we will coordinate a place where you can park and be picked up. At the end of the night, the shuttle will take you back to your car or hotel (although we would advise you stay in the area at least Monday night, so you don't need to party and drive!). Please note Uber/Lyft are not dependable in the area.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Depending upon your location, the shuttle pick-up will likely be between 3:30-4pm, to arrive at the venue at 4:30pm. The ceremony will start promptly at 5pm.

Are the ceremony and reception outside?

Answer

Yes! Labor Day in Upstate New York should be beautiful so we are having our ceremony in a field on the Foxfire property, with dinner and dancing under their reception tent.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal or cocktail attire suggested! And make sure you bring your dancing shoes. ;)

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes! Space is limited at our venue and we will not be able to accommodate uninvited plus ones.

Answer
