We're Getting Married!

We met through his family. I am best friends with his cousin and have always been around for family events. The family always secretly (and not so secretly) wanted us together. I swung by his family reunion in 2021 and the next thing I knew I was driving across the state to spend the day with him just a couple days later. Now here we are, about to spend forever together!

We were about to head out on our vacation to Harrisville MI. I had an idea that he was going to propose on our vacation. So, he was tipped off to switch plans. During his family reunion we went to my family's hunting property. As we were walking to his tree stand, right by my blind. He said, "oh no I dropped my SD card!". I instantly started scrambling looking all over the ground. Then all of the sudden he got down on one knee and pulled out the engagement ring. Asking, "will you marry me?". I was in shock and started shaking but there was an instant "YES!". We cannot wait to start our next journey together. See you on 9.14.2024!
