Nothing romantic, purely friendship. Well, until in May 2017 when Wojtek was going to do a solo Europe trip and I asked if I could come the next time. He said "come now". As friends, we went to Paris, France & Venice, Italy and came back with a serious crush on each other. Our friends saw it coming the second we decided to go on this trip, and it was only a matter of time we finally started dating on September 27, 2017. On December 3, 2022, Wojciech proposed in the Swiss Alps in Nendaz, Switzerland - an absolutely jaw dropping location. I was totally surprised by his timing of 8:00am when I had been getting ready to ski my very first time in the Swiss Alps and was taking care of my frizzy altitude hair. It was very special to then travel to Poland shortly after to meet his grandparents and family for the first time. I have been working on my Polish (novice at best) since Wojciech and his family are bilingual. It is incredibly important to continue our strong Polish heritage as we build our futures. Fast forward to 2023, we are slowly working towards our dream of building a tiny house and doing some cross-country travel. In fall of 2021, we purchased some land in Trego, Wisconsin where we have been working hard to make it something of our own. We have always wanted to experience a nomadic lifestyle and believe it is our chance before we get to 30! We enjoy camping, skiing, and of course traveling. Due to our nomadic adventures ahead, we will not be asking for lots of goods but rather asking for monetary gifts to help us achieve our dreams.
