We met in the summer of 2011 working together at a coffee shop. The moment we first saw each other we both lite up, each knowing instantly there was a special connection between us. We started to develop a great friendship and in March 2012 we began dating. Little did we know of the beautiful life we would end up building together.

We were driving up for our annual Big E trip. We love going to the Big E, it has become our special place that we look forward to every year. Who doesn’t love fair food?! We love to take a specific route because it goes by the Barkhamstead reservoir. It is absolutely gorgeous there, especially in autumn. Every year we comment that we should stop at the reservoir and walk around but never do. This time Keith said he really wanted to stop to taken in the view. So we did! As we were admiring the scenery, Keith knelt down on one knee and asked me to marry him!!!
