David proposed while we were in Florida on a vacation with our friends! He told everyone we were going out to dinner and I started getting ready. He kept asking when I’d be ready so maybe I should’ve caught on but I did not! When I got downstairs everyone was ready to go to the restaurant. We went to the basement to get into the car and there was one of David’s friends Matt waiting there with a captains hat on! He escorted us outside where another of David’s friends Brad was pouring us champagne. I looked out to the deck and there was a table and chairs set up looking out onto the ocean. We got down to the table and then his friends started serving us dinner from the restaurant we were planning on going to! We finished our meals and then David’s friend Wil brought us desert and underneath the lid was cheesecake and a ring box!! Although he made me eat my dessert before he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! Of course I said yes!! I looked back up at the house and all of our friends were there taking pictures and cheering. It was totally unexpected and I loved it!
