Although we met on Bumble, we like to joke that we met at a Twenty One Pilots concert we both attended a few months prior (lol). When we met in January 2022, Sydney was still a student at Wittenberg University, and Jeff was a self-employed production assistant in Columbus. Our first date consisted of Goodwill hunting and dining on mediocre Mexican food in Springfield. Following our first date, we immediately knew that we had to see each other again. That 1-hour drive at first felt grueling, but it soon became an exhilarating short trip when we realized the destination was the person we loved the most. Our first few months truly felt like holding the fast-forward button as our relationship continued to blossom. After seven months of Jeff's work travels and Sydney's summer camp days, we decided it was time to take a leap of faith in one another and move in together in Springfield. To an outsider, this may have looked crazy; however, living together only further cemented our love. We managed to find solace in one another through various challenges, experiences & dog walks. In the end, we came out with a much stronger love and respect for each other. After Sydney graduated in May 2023, we moved to Columbus where we currently reside. From the first few months together, we knew that we were meant to last the test of time. In November of 2023, Jeff finally popped the question at the campus we fell in love at, and at a place we came to cherish more and more; on the Kissing Bridge in front of Myers Hall (the same place on campus we met for our first date!) Jeff asked Sydney to marry him. Surrounded by tea candles and the crisp fall breeze, we committed to love one another for the rest of our lives. Following our engagement, we added three new mouths to feed, of course we mean our ferrets Casper, Reggie, and Leaf. These rambunctious few became Pudge's best friends! With the future in front of us and many exciting adventures planned, we look forward to facing them as (soon-to-be) husband and wife!
