DRINK WATER - Before your trip to CO, and while you are here, drinking plenty of water is the number one way to help your body adjust easily to our higher altitude. The low humidity in Colorado keeps the air dry, like the desert, so you need about twice as much water here as you would drink at home. MONITOR YOUR ALCOHOL INTAKE - It is recommended that you go easy on the alcohol in the mountains and in Denver, as its effects will feel stronger here. EAT FOODS HIGH IN POTASSIUM - Help replenish electrolytes by balancing salt intake. WATCH YOUR PHYSICAL ACTIVITY - You might feel out of shape/tired more than usual. Take it slow & you'll be fine! PACK FOR SUN - Denver gets 300 days of sunshine each year (more than San Diego or Miami). Bring sunglasses, sunscreen & lip balm. DRESS IN LAYERS - Two days before your trip to Denver, check the weather and use this info to pack. It can feel much warmer than the actual temperature during the daytime, but then become very chilly after sundown.
Roughly 50 to 100 guests!
It will be indoors downstairs on the basement level.
Guests can park at the hotel if they are staying overnight; otherwise, valet parking will be offered at a discount price or free right outside Union Station.
We hope Covid will not be a concern by party time, but we will update this section as we get closer!
The dress code for our reception is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail or long dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat. Ladies - If you would like to wear a flapper dress to go with the party theme, you are more than welcome to!
Nope! Jeff & I got that out of the way last year, so all that's left to do is party! We will have a cocktail hour starting at 5pm in the reception hall. There will be signs and guides to help you find your way.
You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the reception, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Yes & Yes! We will be providing 2 free drink tickets, and then the rest of your drinks are up to you. The bar will be able to take cash or card. We will be doing a buffet style of good old southern comfort food. Classic chicken and an AMAZING Brisket served with many veggie options and potatoes. If you are vegan/vegetarian/gluten free or have a special dietary restriction, please let us know so we can get a head count and have an option for you plated separately. Our head chef has been at this venue for many years but previously worked at Wolfgang Puck in Las Vegas! So you can count on a great meal and not boring event food.
