Travel Note
Albuquerque is a high desert, situated at almost 6,000 ft elevation. Sandia Peak is 10,300 ft high! Make sure to prepare for your visit by drinking PLENTY of water in the 1-2 days prior because having altitude sickness is no fun! We also recommend that you pack any necessary allergy medications if you are sensitive to dust (it can be windy) and lots of sunscreen.
Travel Note
While we are moving forward with our rescheduled wedding, we acknowledge that the pandemic is still ongoing and that gathering presents risks. We ask that all guests who are eligible to be vaccinated be up-to-date on recommended boosters. We also ask that you take a rapid test before joining any wedding weekend activities and refrain from attendance if you receive a positive result, even if you are asymptomatic. As for COVID safety, all events are taking place outdoors with room to spread apart as desired.
Travel Note
Have fun but keep your wits about you during your visit! Albuquerque has a lot of petty crime. Always lock your doors/close your windows when you leave, don't leave visible bags or valuables in your vehicle (even in trunks with a sliding cover), and avoid walking alone at night.
Flight
You've got one choice when you fly into Albuquerque, and that's the good ol' ABQ Sunport. Its small and easy!
Hotel
For those looking to splurge on a relaxing stay, look no further than Los Poblanos. Set on a historic lavender farm, the grounds are gorgeous and the restaurant, Campo, is fantastic. This is the most convenient hotel to our wedding but it books up far in advance!
Hotel
Another lovely stay very close to the wedding festivities. This B&B only has a few rooms on the property, so it can book up far in advance.
Hotel
We're not sure what an "immersive boutique motel experience" is, but this is one of the closest hotels to our home. Currently undergoing a complete renovation, it will host a hidden speakeasy and is steps away from several cafes, wine bars, breweries, dispensaries, shops, and restaurants.
