Frequently Asked Questions
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

By Sunday, September 6th, thanks!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

No, we're not registered anywhere because we're an older couple, and we already have all the "stuff" we need. However, we would greatly appreciate funds towards our honeymoon, in Hocking Hills, Ohio, and towards our future married life! We will have a card box and a honeymoon fund box in the reception hall. Thanks for all contributions made!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 4:30pm, but I'd suggest trying to get to the church by at least 4:15pm to make sure you have time to park, get a mask, a sticker, and a seat #; say "Hi," to a few people and get situated! It's going to be exciting!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The official answer is "No," but Mom always said, "Try to look your best!" There will be a photographer wandering around, of course. The official wedding color is red mulberry, if you care about those things!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

You can RSVP with your spouse, (their name is already listed on the RSVP), or with one (unknown) guest, (for the single people).

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Unfortunately, not at this event, as cute as they would be; we're trying to limit the # of guests.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

The reception is going to be a pizza party, so there will be pepperoni, sausage, and cheese pizza, with pop, followed by wedding cake. If you're allergic, or have special dietary needs, I would eat before coming, or after you leave. You may also bring your own food/drink, if you want.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes. The ceremony and reception are going to be at Love City Church on Elm Avenue. There's a handicap lot close by, behind the police station, next to the church. There is street parking, and a bigger lot caddy-cornered from the church tower, that you can also enter from Elm.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Saturday, October 3rd at 4:30pm, there will be a rehearsal for the wedding party only, and we will be going out to eat afterwards. Sunday morning there will be a regular church service at Love City at 10:30am. Sunday evening you're welcome to come around 4:15pm for our 4:30pm wedding ceremony, followed by a reception in the hall, that will end by 7pm. Besides these, there are no other events planned.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

No, because everyone we're inviting is from Cincinnati. Mostly from Love City. We're glad our guests will, hopefully, all be in town to celebrate with us!
